Toronto Day 3

Curling was very cold and hard to learn at first. It was fun to play at the end though because we improved a lot. We got to use sliders to help us glide on the ice. Sliders are things that attach to the bottom of your shoes.

Rogers Centre was a big stadium used for concerts and games with a retractable roof. We visited the different parts of the stadium and saw a lot of it. We saw some bleachers up close, press boxes, suites, and the seats at the top of the stadium.

We didn’t have a lot of time in the mall but the Canadian stores that we don’t have in Ohio were cool, but the clothes were mostly the same. The subway station was busy but it got us to the hockey hall of fame quicker than walking would have.

The Medieval times restaurant and show was very cool. There were horses, birds, jousting, and a feast. We had tomato soup (aka dragons breath soup), garlic bread, roasted chicken, spare ribs, potatoes, and apple pie. They read off who’s birthdays or anniversaries it was and Aria got his name called. Our knight didn’t win, but that was okay.
