8th grade Toronto Trip
October 19, 2011 at 10:48 am | Posted in Toronto Trip | 3 CommentsToday we went to Armando’s, Armando’s is a small Mexican restaurant in Detroit. To prepare for our lunch there in Spanish class we learned how to order, we also learned words of different foods. After lunch we went to the Mexican town bakery. The bakery had all sorts of mexican pastries and desserts. After that we were back on our way to Toronto. Once we arrived in Toronto we got our room assignments. Then we went to the CN tower, it is right across the street from our hotel! It is 1400 feet high, there was a glass floor and you could see the whole city. Once we were finished there we went to dinner at a place called the Hot House cafe, after we got finished eating there we went back to our hotel to rest for another full day tomorrow.

I think the panaderia is one of my favorite stops. I bet the CN tower at night was fabulous…hope you all are managing to get some sleep at night! Can’t wait to hear how you all like Second City- I think your class will especially enjoy that! Que diviertanse y tengan buen viaje!

I could go for one of those chocolate-dipped palmeras right now!
